Synopsis

In the working-class neighborhoods of North Miami, Eddie is convinced his 13-year-old son Isaiah is destined to become a world champion MMA fighter.

As financial pressures mount, father and son chase one opportunity after another, each promising a better future just around the corner.

Fight Kid examines a father's refusal to let his son's extraordinary talent go to waste.

But as opportunity gives way to obsession, the film explores the complicated relationship between love, ambition, and the pressure placed on children to fulfill dreams that may not be entirely their own.
